Fads of the 1970s

Hello everyone! I found out two FADs of the 1970s and I would like to present them to you.

The first one is mopeds. In 1974, the United States had the national fuel crisis. Travelers needed to wait in lines for hours just to get a tank of gas and people looked for a new method of transportation. The moped was fitted for everyone because it was cheaper to use than a common car. Also, in 1977 more than 250,000 people in the USA owned one.

       

  The second one is Star Wars action figures. After the popular Star Wars movies many fans wanted to buy their favorite characters. Many youths started collecting action figures of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and more.
